I had a great time and lots of fun learning to drive with Graham. He is very professional and relaxed in the way he teaches each lesson and i passed first time and would recommend him anytime.

Driving school in Crawley

My name is Graham Hurcomb, I'm 48 years old and been driving different vehicles since before I was legal to drive on the road, consisting of motorcycles and cars mainly, but as my life progressed I went into different jobs and did training on all sorts of vehicles from small electric ones like fork trucks etc, right up to 72 tonne aircraft towing tugs at Gatwick airport.

I have a full HGV Class One and also PSV and qualified to teach learners as an ADI in 2004. I have done courses in driving military vehicles from Skidoos to 56 tonne Chieftain tanks.  I therefore have a vast experiance in driving and thought I'd put it to good use as an instructor.

Motorcycles are my main hobby as I own and ride 2 bikes and go to rallies and races but because its a hobby I dont want to teach it, so I became very sucessful in teaching cars, I would like to teach HGV one day as I did enjoy driving lorries for over 20 years.

I worked at Gatwick as a tug driver for 7 years pushing and towing aircraft around the airport. Try reversing a 72 tonne 30 foot tug with a fully laden 747 jumbo on to a runway! I can do that and many more things to do with a driving record I'm very proud of.

I have an excellent pass rate in the 6 years I have been an ADI with over 350 passes first or second time with not too many taking more than that to pass their test. I am very patient with pupils and never shout or swear at them if they go wrong as that is part of the learning process. I try to give a good interesting lesson where the pupil feels happy and that he or she is feeling that they are becoming a confident driver each time they get out of the car so I do my best to make it that way so after they pass they will be good drivers and also recommend me to friends as most of my work comes that way.
